I think people are being a little too harsh on Keane. I must admit that I have gone off hima bit since his 'Scouse-gate' episode, however, the big difference between now and his previous stint at the club is the lack of a certain regular strike partner who is no longer with us. Before the arrival of said striker, Keane's goal scoring record was nowhere near the 20-25 goals per season that he enjoyed for the two years that he was partnered with 'Striker'. Since he has now left, Keane's goal scoring record/form has simply reverted back to pre-Striker days.

Robbie will chip in at around 12-15 goals by the end of the season. The key is getting Defoe back on the pitch and playing with a partner (Crouch) that will offer the same potency as Keane and Striker offered.

Keane used to be Spurs' best striker, but his decline continues.Maybe it is all these interviews he is giving that is sapping his ability. He is now our third best goal scorer.Instead of running from side to side of the field it would be better if he put the ball in the net.Hitting the post and missing other opportunities does not help his cause.
