I agree with the rest on JJ's fine form against Burnley. I went back and watched a recording of the match and he was a handful to deal with. I do think this will add another headache to Redknapp's midfield selection which is a blessing.

COYS!!!

Nice review of a good performance. Lots to enjoy but no need to get carried away.

Same with keane. He was fine today, a good player but never a great one. Did someone once say he and JD could not play together?

And yes, you most certainly can say how well JJ played, outstanding. Now can you please play like that every week? Thanks.

Well yes it was only Burnley but on the other hand it was 5-0.In the past we might have made hard work of this and perhaps won by the odd goal after a struggle.
And we contrived to miss at least three good chances.
If their 'offside' goal had stood it might have been different.
Can I mention how well Jenas played today and how well he has played since his return from injury.

here we go again, i have said this for years robbie flops and flops and in a game against no one he will score a few. This was burnley, before you start getting excited look how many goals they have conceded away already.

Keane has hours to compose himself and actually hit the target and even then only just managed to get the ball in the back of the net for one, and the other was a pen. I guess these goals guarantee him starts in our next ten games, come on be serious, against decent teams not even good ones, he will not have this time and space and will not score goals. I was pavvy to be given a chance. Is he really injured???? im not so sure

Did anyone else think Bassong held onto the ball a bit too much? Too close for comfort? There were times when I was screaming at him to punt it away.

I despair of the absurdity being spouted following the display. True, after the initial normality of PSB missing an easy one-on-one in the 10th minute, you have to celebrate four goals in a crucial game. But are we really now blind to 9 months football. And I truly hope the excited commentators are right in suggesting that this means he has now settld in. But those of us who have watched every game since his return have the right to reserve judgement. Does the very controvesy surrounding the player not suggest there is a problem? Personally I dont understand how a player who misses so many chances is ever defended, annual displays of brilliance aside. But consider this: we don't have such controversy over Modric!
